Attention early birds! Disney’s Magic Kingdom has
something
just for you! If you and your family are up before the sun and
heading to the
Magic Kingdom before it opens, you won’t have to wait at the
turnstiles until
the park officially opens. At 8 am, you and your family can
actually enter the
park via Main Street USA, and be inside before the park
opens for the day.
PhotoPass is available, so you can take you iconic family
picture in front of
the castle photo without a million people walking in
front of the camera or
bumping you out of the way. This early entry is great
for photographers, as it
is a unique opportunity to see Walt Disney World in
it’s quiet and peaceful
times, before it becomes magical, organized, chaos.
Being able to enter the park at 8:00 also gives you a
chance
to eat breakfast at Casey’s Corner, where you can get muffins, bagels,
and even
a hash brown dog. Grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks and get a little
bit of
shopping done before your day even starts.
Although you’ll be in the park at 8, attractions open at
9
and all of the lands are roped off until the park officially opens. If
being
the first one into FantasyLand or TomorrowLand is important, you may
want to
bypass the breakfast and the shopping head right there. These two
lands are the
most popular, and guests line up right outside of the entrance
to both lands in
an effort to get in right away.
At 8:55, a magical show entitled “Let The Magic Begin”
takes
place in front of Cinderella’s Castle on the stage. This five-minute
musical
show features Mickey, Pluto, all of the Disney princesses, Mary
Poppins and
more. At the end of the show, the official “rope drop” happens at
each land and
guests make their way to the attractions.
If you plan to take advantage of Magic Kingdom’s
early
entry, snap a picture of your family on Main Street and send it to us!
We may
feature it on our Facebook prize and send you a little thank you
gift!
