What You Need To Know
About Coming To Florida For Halloween

The Orlando area does not disappoint when it comes to both terrifying and family-friendly attractions during Halloween.
From haunted houses that will make your heart race to kid-friendly trick or treating venues,
Orlando is one of the coolest places to spend the spookiest season of the year.

Regardless of which Orlando events you want to be a part of, you can’t wait until the last minute to book your accommodations.
Everything fills up by the first or second week of October; so if you are planning on coming, don’t wait any longer to make plans!

Halloween Horror

For 27 years, fear-loving visitors have been chased with chainsaws down the streets of Universal Studios, waited in long lines to be terrified, and experienced some of the most horrifying haunted houses around.
The theme park spares no expense when it comes to creating a frightening
experience for all who dare to enter.
This year, the theme is The Festival  of the Deadliest, featuring four brand new haunted houses.
Tickets range from $60-$85, and extras like express passes and R.I.P tours are suggested
add-ons. The bone-chilling event runs on select nights until November 4th.

Locals say there seem to be more underage visitors than in
years past, and a change to the alcohol policy has been implemented. Overall,
however, it’s still the thrilling haunted adventure that Universal is famous

If you’re looking for something less touristy but just as creepy, check out
DRIP’S Underground Vampire Bar
. This unique experience is held in a
warehouse-like setting and features a frightening live theatrical show, live
music, dancing, and a up close and personal encounter with Orlando’s scariest

Other local events like Thornton Park’s 4th annual Halloween Block Party, Halloween themed pub crawls downtown, and a Zombie Ball allow
visitors to get into the Halloween spirit without having to visit the theme parks

Mickey’s Not So Scary
Halloween Party

For a much more low-key, family-friendly Halloween experience, Disney is the place to go. Held in the Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights until November 1st and
is $74 per ticket. This after-dark special event allows children to trick ‘or treat throughout the Magic Kingdom in their favorite Halloween costume.
Many iconic Disney rides will stay open during this time, giving your family the
unique opportunity to experience the Magic Kingdom’s famous rides after the sun
goes down. Get a front row seat for the not-so-spookiest Halloween parade
you’ll ever see, sing and dance with the Sanderson sisters, and end the night
with a spectacular Happy Hallowishes Fireworks Show.

Sea World’s Halloween

This is another kid-friendly event that allows the whole
family to trick or treat during daylight hours. Little ones will squeal with
delight as they meet their friends from Sesame Street, and the whole family can
sing, dance and laugh along with the Halloween themed live shows. And of
course, visitors of all ages are encouraged to collect goodies and sweets as
they explore this aquatic-themed park! This event is included in park admission
and runs on select
until October 29th.

Halloween At Old Town

Even here in Kissimmee, things can get pretty creepy around Halloween. The 6th
Annual Haunt At Old Town
features scare zones, haunted houses, and a zombie
apocalypse! There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy, trick or
treating and costume contest to a car decorating competition.

From Vampire Bars to kid-friendly costume parades, Orlando
is a hot-spot for Halloween activities. If you’re still looking for a place to
stay during the Halloween season, we still have some luxury condos and
single-family homes available! Click here
